FIVE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR COMPUTER PLAY GAMES FASTER.
Greetings from the pages and words of the Silent Observer. Did you know I am gamer? Yep I am.(bragging rights..lol) I have won quite a number of FIFA competitions (contact me if you want to try) and I have played and completed games like Call of Duty Series; Battlefield; Splinter Series; Tomb Raider Franchise; Devil May Cry Franchise; need for speed franchise; Pro Evolution Soccer! I could go and on. I have earned those bragging rights among my peers so please let me let it loose. Today I am going to share with PC gamers out there on a few tricks to tweak and improve gaming performance for better frame rate. Before I delve into that, please allow some meandering. The countdown to the sequel of Tomb Raider 2013 on PC is on. It will be available on PC on 28th January,2016. So please keep your itchy gaming fingers at the right place. The time is neigh. Whoa. Can’t wait. I wanna time travel. Oops! No more meandering. These are five ways to improve your Pc’s gaming performance.
  1. USING CCLEANER
Internet cache, internet history, temporary flies, chkdsk logs and a host of others are some of the debris that often the operating system and reduces the performance of software’s especially games. You need to occasionally search for this files and delete them which is mostly very annoying. With CCleaner you can delete all those flies and repair your registry with just a single click. You can download CCleaner for free.

  2. GAME BOOSTER
As the name rightly suggests, Game booster boost games. All it does is close the all other running applications that might interfere and compete with the game’s performance. Thus most of the memory and graphics is dedicated to the game. This improves the game’s performance.

  3.  MINIMISE THE RESOLUTION AND THE VIDEO QUALITY
For those of you with low spec Pcs, this tweak might work for you. All you need is to go to the Game’s Graphic Settings and do some little calibration. Minimize the Screen Resolution to at least 900*800. Reduce Anti-Liasing and all other technical graphics you see right there to very low. Although this will reduce the game’s graphic quality, you’ll enjoy the game at a better and faster frame rate than before.

  4. INCREASING THE PRIORITY
I discovered this trick when I was stuck with a Lenovo Pc with 2GB RAM. Albeit the graphics was good, the RAM did not auger well for my games. I always had those annoying game crashes that every gamer dreads especially when you have not reach a save point. You simply need to run the game as an administrator; Open Task Manager; Click on more details at the left bottom corner; Search for Details on the tabs on top; Click on it and search for your Game on the list of running processes; Right click on the game and navigate to Set Priority; And click on Real time; Press Ok on the pop that will appear to set the priority to RealTime. This will dedicate most of the RAM to the game increasing performance. You should note that in most case you need to minimize the game before you can do this. And also you have to close the game before you can perform any task on the computer.

  5. WINDOWS VISUAL EFFECTS TWEAK
This is quite a simple method. Right click on ‘my computer’ and navigate to properties; Click on advance System Settings and navigate to Performance Settings on the Advance Tab; Click on Best Performance and then click on Apply and then OK. Your windows will look like windows 98 with very bad visual effects. But all you care about is the performance of your game and this tweak will work right for you. You can revert to the default visual settings when you are done rocking your game.

These are few but reliable tweaks that every pc gamer must have up the sleeves to increase frame rate and play games as smooth as possible. You can google and log on gaming forums to get more. Your questions and comments are welcome. Keep rocking!
