KawulaVoice: MZVEE FOR BET

It has been quite a routine for sometime now that the winner for the Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards will automatically get an a nomination  at the BET Awards. Certainly not this year.

Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda better known by her stage name MzVee has been nominated for the Best International Act African Category! This was announced by the Black Entertainment Television (BET) on Friday morning. The dancehall artiste becomes the first female in Ghana to be an entrant in the category after Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

The sexy 'Natural Girl' hitmaker will be competing against South Africans AKA, Cassper Nyovest and Black Coffee, Nigerians Wizkid and Yemi Alade, Tanzanian Diamond Platinumz and Ivorian Serge Beynaud.

The 2016 BET Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theater In Los Angeles, United States of America  three days after her birthday on Sunday, June 26.
